Perfect Callaway Big Bertha Diablo Edge Fairway wood
I bought the
Callaway Big Bertha Diablo Edge Fairway wood because I had tried the Diablo 5 wood and liked it. I was using an older Big Bertha 3-wood and could not hit it consistently. The Diablo has greatly improved my fairway hits -- straighter, longer, and much more consistent. I think it's because the Diablo is not as high (wider and closer to the ground) which increases the horizontal size of the sweet spot. It's the best club I've added to my set in a long time. If you are having trouble hitting a consistently longer, straighter fairway shot, I'd recommend trying the Diablo Fairway Wood -- it might help end some of your golf.frustrations. The 3 wood arrived in fine shape, brand new. It sets up like a custom fitted club. The shaft is labled Soft but does not feel it. Shaft lenght is the same as my 5 wood. Shots do get up in the air and carry about the same distance as my 5 wood but roll a little further. All this experience was in cool weather. Hopefully it will perform better in summer weather.
